Alpha Iota Gamma strives to spark academic curiosity and greater achievement in all of its members by providing a broader understanding of the healthcare field as a whole.

AIΓ educates its members about the different sectors and professions within the healthcare field by having current brothers, alumni, and experienced healthcare professionals host panels on various career paths, the graduate application process, and more. 

Furthermore, AIΓ encourages its members to thrive academically by hosting study sessions, coffee chats with professors, awareness weeks, and research presentations.

As future healthcare professionals, another core pillar of Alpha Iota Gamma is giving back to the community through service.

The brotherhood seeks to engage in the local Ithaca and Cornell communities by dedicating time to help those that can benefit from our service. In the past, members have participated in campus-wide service events including Into the Streets, Science Olympiad and Big Red Thon.

Moreover, AIΓ is also dedicated to supporting greater healthcare causes by hosting fundraisers and awareness weeks. Members have successfully raised money for numerous local and national organizations, such as the Finger Lakes Cancer Resource Center, Ithaca Planned Parenthood, International Medical Corps, and Gift of Life - our national philanthropic cause.

AIΓ also strives to create a community in which members are highly motivated to individually pursue service opportunities on their own. All new members are asked to organize their own fundraiser to understand the value of philanthropy in the healthcare field.

Most importantly, Alpha Iota Gamma is a community of tight knit brothers with one common goal: to better the world through our efforts in the healthcare field. ΑΙΓ fosters a welcoming environment in which its members create bonds and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Throughout the year, ΑΙΓ continuously hosts social and brotherhood events such as class dinners, movie nights, and snow tubing in an effort to create and maintain an intimate community of ambitious and compassionate individuals.

In addition, ΑΙΓ also seeks to create a positive presence in the Cornell community by connecting with and working alongside other organizations and pre-professional fraternities.
